I've been told this car isn't worth restoring, too much rust. What would the engine, wheels and other parts be worth?

It's really not is great shape. Been sitting under an oak tree for 6 years. It was running good, just didn't keep it cranked and the battery is dead. It belonged to my husband. 30 year army career, he bought it new in Hawaii. I'm asking $2000. Guy offered $300 for the motor.

I think you want to sell the whole car, not as parts. I would wash it, post photos then - including under the hood, ask my price and take best offer. Low mileage. Body not rusting through yet. Don't part it out unless nobody will take it as is. $2K is a bit high...unless you can charge the battery and get it to run. Do that and your OBO numbers will be better. 'Not running' is a bummer.

Where is the car located?

I agree it's best to try hard to sell it to someone who might restore it. 119K miles is low. These cars are getting hard to find. At least around Indy.
