Stainless Braided Lines
 

Hey Guys Im Just Getting Into Using The Braided Stainless Lines On My Car And Wonder How They Assemble From The Fitting To The Hose. Do You Just Stuff The Hose In The Fitting And Tighten? I Know How To Cut The Hose, Just Dont Want It To Atomize Fuel Everywhere If It Leaks, Then Go Boom.

Go to Earl's or any of the other sites. They all have intructions on how to put together the hose. I have yet to have any AN hose/fittings leak after putting them together. I can't say that for flared tubing.

Thanks I Found It, Ive Done Solid Tubing Before, If You Have The 37 Deg. Flare Tool And A Bender It Isnt That Bad

Sorry, I should have said double flare, as in stock. My new car will have AN hardline too.

Are you planning on running aluminum AN tubing for the fuel or braided line?

I am redoing the plumbing on the Roadster, and I am still trying to plan things out before I cut :)

Measure Twice Before You Cut!!

I'm going to use steel line with braided only at the ends. A number of hotrod companies offer brake line kits that use AN flares/fittings. That's what I'm using along with a few pre-made AN braided lines. I don't know how they do it but pre-made lines are cheaper than I can buy the ends for.

When you do the masters/pedal box make sure to do braided for the first little bit. This makes changing masters much easier
