IMSA GTU Datsun Z fan website
I have started a fan website of the 70's and 80's racing series and the street car off shoots. If anyone has contacts, photos, stories, corrections or info please PM me or answer in this forum and I will place them on the website.

Thanks but I am focusing on the 240/260/280 Z versions since little is available on the web. There seems to be more documentation of the ZX's. Paul Newman driving might of had something to do with that. If you have pictures of any 240/260/280 Z's please send them to the e-mail on the site.

i can only find 7 pics of the 79, and even less of the ones you want.

Thanks for checking! I just added some nice digital shots from vintage races of the Sam Posey version of the 280. Scroll down to the bottom 4 at http://zlalomz.googlepages.com/vintageracing

elecramotive and SCCA should have archival pix of the road course racing z's--road atlanta nationals every october, san francisco's pacific road challenge and other national and regional race archival info--john morton has raced nissans since before i started race work in 1977--there is a lot of info to be found, and pix--i used to have ALL kinds of UNIQUE pix from imsa, f-1, nascar, scca national and regional racing--can-am, trans-am, etc--but my sister pitched 'em--wtf,ober. what she didn't pitch, my ex-husband destroyed. look up in the archives--you will find MUCH info & pix. those were the days, great memories!!!

found a site by frank sheffield--he took pix from places only 2 or 3 people away from me in some of the 1983 rir stuff. f sheff -- i am not certain how to find it--i got there in a very obscure way. good pix--lots of history
