ATI Crank Damper

I found somebody making dampers for the L series Nissan engines. They are not a fluid damper, but a inertial type. Supposedly better at high RPM than the fluid type. The company is owned by Jim Beattie (former "Black Magic" funny car driver in the 70's) and his prices are a little better than comp. He qouted me $435 for the damper. They can be bought for less if we get ten at a time. I'm going to send him my damper so he can make the pulley and attach the timing wheel.
So is anyone interested in getting one of these? we would need to get ten (at least) to get a killer price. Let me know if anyone is interested. Here's the link:

Randy,
Nissan Motorsports offers the competition Dampner again. Steve said they took all the stuff they didn't like or liked in the old design and made this one better. It isn't in any of the catalogs , but is offered in the flyer. He says its as good or better then the ATI one . Its SFI rated as well.
The retail price for it is $400. I can see what we can do on pricing on these if you are interested. I will have to call them again on Monday. He gave me a long list of improvements on it , but man that dude can talk. I was trying to write as fast as he was talking but couldn't keep up :)

Oh yes I am interested to say the least. What's up with the flyer? I guess that I'm out of touch with Nissan motorsports. Seems that they are changing directions again? I all but gave up on them for awhile. It seemed that all the good stuf was NLA and the rest was over priced. So should I call Steve myself, or will you be my broker, so to speak? ;) I would love to get on any flyer list or even get a new catalog for that matter.

BTW for those who live out of the state of Washington (sales tax) www.Nissanparts.cc has good prices on all parts. You have to know the part number to search, (put an m- in front of the part number for motorsport parts) but they seem to have everything I looked for and good prices as well. Apparently they are part of the Bruce Titus auto group here in the Puget Sound area so we gotta pay sales tax and shipping.

Randy,
This site is sponsored by StrictlyZ.com and Z parts store . I just need to call in the number on Monday to find out what we can do on the pricing. We can also get anything thats still availble from Nissan and comparable prices. Last order I put in with Stricltly ended up being cheaper then they even quoted me :)

I got a flyer in the box with my brake pad order from them. I will see what it takes to get on their flyer list.

Nissan Motosports is trying to get the service and parts availbility back to were is should be. One thing that they don't like is that the NISMO parts that are going to be sold in the US will be Dealer only items.
