ZDriver Firefox users..Adblock

I was having some problems with my Firefox crashing everytime I tried to get on Zdriver...which is often, along with a few other sites. Come to find out I have been using the same adblock for like a year and it is crap now. If any of you are getting an (ntdll.dll) error and you have an old adblock extension then you may want to un-instal it and get the one that says Adblock Plus. Since I put it in my Firefox has not crashed once. Just F.Y.I. I figured if I mentioned ZDriver in this thread then ZDriver would be ok with this being posted on ZDriver....:paranoid:

No, no windows blinds. My buddy made this as a version of a luna element 5 I think it was. He redid it sometime back and I have been using it for a little less than a year I think. I used a replacer to put it in. It was a little involved at first but it worked out.

I was having a problem like that but it was with that damn forecast fox. It got to the point where firefox wouldn't even open. I had to go in safe mode and remove it so firefox would work.

I use Styler to modify XP's look. It's not as indepth as Windows Blinds but its free. I was using Windows Blinds free version but I got tired of it prompting me to buy everytime I turned my computer on.

am i the only one who keeps his desktop as simple as possible? i switched mine to windows classic view. dont like the bubbly roundy XP look. and all those styling things are just one more process running in the already bloated XP background.

When it starts slowing me down I'll think twice about using the styling software (or if I have to start paying for it). I usually dont have anything on my desktop but those damn SNES ROMS keep putting the save files on my desktop. I've gotta change that. I dont have nearly as many processes' running as I used to have though. I've put most on disable or manual.

But I do prefer the look of XP over the classic theme. Just looks too old for me. It's just a matter of taste I guess.

Well I like to think I keep mine simple too. Although I am running themes and XP Pro I am by no means slowing this outdated machine down. It all has to do with knowing what to mess with in your sevices, what to disable and what to set to manual. Here, have a look see, tell me what you think. My task manager also shows the same number of processes.

ok, 18 processes is good. i havent got mine down that low yet on my new machine. first time i started it, it had like 70 running processes. why do companies put all this BS bloatware on their computers. i just have to go in and clean it all out. what a waste.

copy and save it as a jpeg. that should shrink the KB's down to a manageable size. I'm assuming it's a Bitmap at that size

I'm sitting at 19 with Firefox running. Task Manager has me at 20, but thats because it's counting itself.

FubarI33t 09-05-2006 02:13 PM

that looks like the firefox theme I used to run. I switched to this one though. Goes good with my XP theme I think.

How do you show your desktop on here? And how do I get Firefox? That looks pretty sweet.

on your keyboard. There's a button above Del and Home. called PrtScrn. Hold that for like 2 secounds. Go into Paint, and Edit/Paste, Then Make sure to Save As JPEG.

WildmaN 09-05-2006 05:56 PM

Doesn't work I tried it, I am also running Firefox now. But I would also like to change the outlook of my desktop. How do you get it that way?
