X box or ps3
Which one is the best. My friend wants one mainly for movies and first person shooters. And I kinda want one too. Which is a better investment in the long run as far as updates go?

technically neither is the better "investment", since both with time will lose their value. If you wanted to make some money on these, then you shoulda bought one and then sell it on Ebay.

PS3 !!!!! playstation always has teh better game play and its much mroe capable, also with teh blue ray reader it makes it the better investment right there, idk if youve priced out blue ray disc player but you'll notice they are ALL MUCH more expensive than the PS3.... plus im a sony man.... that or Wii
EDIT: oh yeah and PS3 is the first system to come out with a game where the terrain changes as game play goes on, its that motostorm game, i think it changes by creating tire treads like wearin in the track, or like if it starts to snow it will accumulate realisticlly, neat **** like that.... just think how that will revolutionize more advanced games like when the nest gran turismo comes out....

Yeah, I do like the interactive playing that the Wii offers. But, I like the games that the 360 has. Im a huge fan of Forza and Fable. Im also a fan of blue ray, and Gran Turismo.

the xbox 360 is the industry leader right now. the ps3 is basically only lacking quality games. the xbox has the library right now cuz it's been out longer. essentially pick your poison. if you can afford both good. if you wanna play great games now online and off, go xbox. if you wanna hope that sony releases better games later on, and watch bluray movies till your blu in the face then go ps3.

Yeah, I definately cant afford both. So, I may just get a find a used console, and go from there. Unless you can buy a ps3 from walmart, and then return it to try the 360. Hmmm......
