Well, just bought a 240sx
This one is my 3rd one, and the 2nd one that doesnt move. I am buying it totally involuntarily because it was my friends car that I broke and it will be much cheaper to just buy the car from him instead of fixing it. The total price will be like $600, which isnt much, but it now needs some work done to the steering system. Its got a SOHC KA w/ a 5spd, so I suppose the financial sacrafice will be worth it in the end.

Yea, I would, but I've converted to Z's, this 240 is a gutless POS, i'd much rather drop that money into my Z, so now that this one is fixed again, i'll probably just sell the waste of space. I used to LOVE 240's w/ a passion, but now they seem insignificant compared to the power of a Z, so I don't think i'd like investing such money on a pointless car. Especially when the SR motor alone w/o the clip costs almost as much if not more then an entire Fairlady Z TT clip.
240 parts, especially SR parts have become way too expensive since the last time I had one, and I don't think spending even more money for a 4 cyl 2L Turbo SR would be a good idea when I could just as easily get a 6cyl 3L Twin Turbo VG for about the same price. |
well 240's arent abotu speed they're about sliding their ass from side to side. :D
