turbo z31 wheelz and stock turbo......
anyone have any of these that they are replacing--and the old stuff still work??? i would like to replace m,y turbo in the 86 turbo--it has a leak, and is 1500$ to rebuild---and i could use 1 or 2 turbo wheels--i have 1 slightly bent and one more bent wheel on which i am now driving--hard to balance out to running smooth--i am outa bux, waiting for ssdi to approve--and still need to fix that Z. any HELPFUL advice and info will be welcomed. thankyou.

$1500 to rebuild your turbo? Who gave you that quote? You could buy a new one for half that. I got mine rebuilt the first time for $375. Call a couple local turbo shops & compare prices.

i got that quote from z-whizz, in sd. i know of another Z shop here, but i never bothered to ask about that because everything else has been ok until that quote!

Just go to a turbo specialty shop... I've noticed Z shops like to charge more for things because they have a Z in their name. :D They'd prolly end up shipping it to a turbo shop anyway, and you'd just pay more because they are the middle man.
