Speed limit increase

So Ive heard that in a lot of states the speed limit has increased or is in the process of increasing. The max on certain hwy's here in CA is 70. But for the most part its 65. I hear Texas now has it at 80. What's it up to in your neck of the woods?

Way out north or south of Seattle it gets up to 70mph, same in some parts of Oregon. I don't think it hits 75 untill Cali.

when you cross the border into Canada the speed limit jumps up to 130-160!!! its crazy!

Thats because they use KPH . I wish speed limits here were 300 KPH. Then i wouldent be worried about cops everytime i do a highway run.

Though I'm not much of a fan of MIT, this guy has a pretty useful and up-to-date site summarizing the US laws, last updated in June of this year:
