no unfortuantely it has a future home wrapped inside of a plastic bag... I'm building this motor for my boss who when he gets time will get around to putting his mustang together. Which at this point could mean never. its kinda depressing to spend all this money to wrap it up huh?

umm not really paying me for building it since he's basically paying for my diploma... y athey are pretty tiny I think we're getting a set of headers for it soon. Its almost 2am and I just came in, I"m missing 2 bolts a few water couplings and the carb, and i have to bolt on the alternator. other than that the motor is done. I'm so proud of myself for buliding another motor by myself. except now i have to get the motor back to tdc to re time my distributor. i'm one cylinder off..... shoulda learned to read sooner.

Pretty soon that motor will be in its new home inside a giant plastic bag in our company's warehouse hoping some day to make it back into that car.

I just put one of those ford motors together about a month ago. When we pulled the oil pan off the old motor to inspect the bearings, we noticed a crack in the #2 main bearing journal. When we removed the crank, half of the journal fell out onto the floor. These ford motors don't like running at 8k rpm. Of course the 15:1 compression ratio doesn't help much either.
