Poll: Color for the 240Z
Ok I'm finally taking the 240 in for paint in a week ot two. I know I had a similiar thread before .....but I'm still undecided....so I'm leaving it up to y'all!
I was originally leaning towards the original yellow, but then I bought a yellow truck, and well, two yellow vehicles is just too much. So the finalists are 905 red, 903 blue, or leave it grey (I've added sample pics below...) Whatever color is ahead when I take her in, well thats the color it will be! Thank y'all for your assistance.

i vote red... i agree with Rod... it just stands out a lot better than the other 2... you might want to go with a different shade of red... maybe a lil darker with a hint of burgundy...kinda like this one

i voted for grey, but if the color was yellow originally, then you should go there. so what if the world thinks only crazy folks drive yellow cars??? i had a yellow opel gt and a yellow chitty luv truk at the same time--nothing is wrong with that----but if you do grey------make it a DEEP grey with sparkles and lots of clear coat.......or lavendar or mauve...............

red is sexy, but its teh first thing cops notice, and its way to popular, join me with the blue, we can have twins! lol. and the blue grows on you very fast, i wanted to change it to a deeper blue like WRX blue but now, i just want to restore teh paint minus that stupid side trim, its an awsome blue.

Thanks for everyone's input. I think if I do get her painted (as opposed to keeping the car grey), it'll be an original 240Z color. heres a link to a site showing all the original S30 colors:

snw, I think your car's color might be 307 (theres a tag on the bracket by the radiator that should say what the color code is). I guess this color is slightly different from the 903 blue the 240Z came in.

Glad to be of assistance snw. My cars original color was the 112 Yellow aka golfball green....this was the shade that came on the '72-'73s. I prefer the 919 gangster yellow that came on the '70-'71s...
