I don't know if our tests are funky, but looking at the paper they gave me the requirements for a 1982 280ZX and a 1988 Pulsar are basically the same. Seems strange to me my turbo Z engine passes where the stock NA CA18DE engine won't. It actually got a little better in 3 of the tests, but got worse in 1 of them. I went in for my 2nd test today and failed again. The engine is running so much better this time than last time.

I guess I have to take it off insurance and do some real work on the engine.

washington regs are far less stringent than cali regs. my z31 was cali emissions, and it just squeaked by down there. when i brought it up here, it was nowhere near the limits.

YES--the running parts car IS registered--will be again in just a few days--smog is next year, and extensions are gifted as needed--there will be only a few things cannibalized from it for me, then, drive away z31....i am already beginning to have withdrawals from piglet--she has been verry verry good to me....
