You'd have a big ol vaccum leak & it probably would have idle down probs.

 

Ok then. ANd I was talking about blocking off the holes too. So then does that mean performance intakes have them too?

 

You were talking about it but you didn't mention it in your post!
No performance intakes (there is only 1 aftermarket manifold made) don't have one. They also don't have vacuum leaks.

 

Well ya. Of corse I would block the thing off! I'm just bored and Im fabricating a custom intake from an old one so I dont have to machine the injector bosses and the like.

 

Isn't the BCDD attached to the throttle body? Grab a turbo throttle body... or KA24 60mm throttle body... they don't have them.

 

No its actually on the manifold itself. not the TB. And If I could find a bigger TB that would be nice as I would put on that turbo AFM as well.

 

Hehe, Ford used to have what I called "driver selectable Vacuum leaks". Worked great if it was a hair to rich to pass emissions, just keep making hole bigger until it flew... It was a big vacuum tree with several different size caps on it.

I'm gonna run up to summit tomorrow and buy some fittings. Gonna use some metric 18 x 1.5 to AN fittings for my oil cooler and run stainless braided lines.
