WTF? Is that a Tiburon?

Actually, since many front wheel drive cars have the motor mounted sideways, this would create a more free flowing exhaust. IMO, not worth it since it looks like the *** end of a mule, but it would be a performance upgrade. That pipe doesn't look to be more than 2" in diameter, so I don't know. Why am I, of all people, trying to justify rice. Damn Budweiser. Or maybe I mean thamn Budweiser; since that appears to be a trend.

How do they keep the paint from blistering next to the cat?

ah, there's nothing quite like the smell of exhaust wafting through the cabin when stuck in early morning traffic...

Man, if he really wanted the exhaust to flow as freely as possible, he should've just gotten an exhaust cut-out valve. I'm sure it took a few odd bends to get it to exit that way too, possibly worsening airflow.

Friends dont let friends drive Hyundai's.

And what the hell good is that dam stove pipe doing that fool anyways. Like stated above the bends would causemore restrictions then they would help. And the exhaust fumes would be horrific in the cab. Then you have the paint issues. Why not just run a 3" straight out the back or side. that is themost reatrded setup i have ever seen.

Sorry that was my conservative oppinion.

That is a Tiburon look at the side molding. Dont these idiots know that a 2k with only 160hp is only good until you run out of gas. hyundai and Kia have the worse resale value of everything. If anyone else sales for a living they know what i am talking about. If someone comes in with a Kis sephie that is 4 years old. They still owe about 7500. That person is still upside down by about 4k. that is sad. the tiburon loses about 45 percent of its value the second you sign the contract. if you compare that to say and Altima or Civic. A 1999 Altima is worth more than a 2004 Sephia. A civic ( the highest resale value of any car) I will use mine for an example. Mine is a 1993 Civic EX 4 door with 187k. I was going to trade it in last year for a minivan. The dealer was going to give me 7500 for it. Blue book is about 3500. I decided to keep the Civic because it is paid for and the most work I have done was a new distributor for 450. I had that done at 186k. So why give up a good reliable car.

I stillhave the original motor in my 78Z and it has 382k on it. She burns no oil, but has a minor oil leak out of the pan.

As you can tell researching cars is a hobby of mine. My wife actually said to me to quit looking at other cars. We were driving down the road at the time and i was checking out a 94 Trans Am with ram Air induction.

My wife only worries about losing me to a good looking Corvette.

Your going to tell me some numbskull said hed give you 7500 for a 93 civic ex with 180K miles on it? My friend just bought a 99 civic ex with 50K miles on it for 6000.

I just looked on kelly blue book, your civic books out for $1275 trade in value.

...Hyundai's have pretty good performance & they're rather nicely designed...I did a double take on a silver Tiberon & a coupla sedans I've seen recently... before I noticed the Hyundai logos.

When they offered me that it was about 2000 when I was thinking of buying a new Crew cab Dodge. The car had 82k on it at the time. I really dont care what it is worth now cause i have owned it since 1998 when I traded my 1991 Explorer for it. I dont plan on selling it cause the wife loves it. it is her car like the Z is mine. she details it and I keep the maintance up on it.

But you are right the saleman was a little to eager. And the car isnt worth much now. It is however worth a lot to my wife and she matters most.

I use to do Field service IT work for all of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. that tends to rack the miles on fast. I have put over 20k on my Avalanche since March.

oh, it is. but your brothers fits in the standard mainstream rice category, wheras our friend with the tiburon is in the outlanishly asinine category.

i.e.
grand am= :-[... :-[...

tiburon= :-[... :-[... :-[... :-[... :-[... :-[... :-[...

I strongly concur on that one there pal. Domestic Rice is bad but can only be topped with 100% Whole Grain Rice. The only thing worse then that I've seen localy is a 87' Honda Accord with a wooden spoiler, home stereo equipment, and various PAINTED on decals with Arcrylic paint. I believe I saw a NOSSS one on the gas cap. I'll try to get pics.
