Well today I was ultra board and decided to mess around with paint on my computer. None of this was photoshop so tell me what you think!

Not the best of the best but still cool.

Maybe other people could show MS/PS's of cars, I think it'd be cool!

Looks good! How about deleting the front bumper strip?

I thought about it, but the more I thought the harder it looked. I'll give it a shot!

I never realized how much of a giant ass end the S130 has until I saw it with no rear bumper...

my personal choice

s30/130-z31 <---(because they jsut look funky) (a TT would be at the top of the list, but i cant seem to afford one right now)

I'd say the slick top 1984 300ZX 2+2 was the ugliest followed by the 280Z 2+2.
In fact, the only thing that saves the look of the 280ZX 2+2 in my opinion is the t-tops. a slick top 2+2 S130 looks even more odd. I like the 2-seater in either roof design though. :)

I would like to take this moment to say that on my Rising Sun hood I shaved the passenger side vent 100% with bondo. thank you very much!

2+2 anythng looks gross....s30 is the worst though besides that i tie the z32 and s30...but i would much prefer a z32 but then take in maintanence and my budget...i think im gonna be getting an s30 sometime soon....but it will be something else...

yes, 2+2 s30's and s130's look disgusting! They look......pregnant.

My order would be, s30, s130, z32, z33, then the z31. Don't care much of the 2+2, not a family man, nor do i like giving people rides. Yo, craig, try shaving the c pillar, or what ever it's called. Thats my plan.:unibrow: I'd reather the slicktop but don't have a/c, so i love the T's.

z31's were a mistake.....what are you talking about? haha....2+2 was a mistake...s30 and z32 tied folloed by s130.....after that nothing else matters no z31 no 2+2 nothing.....those are the only cars that deserve to be a member of the z family...oh and the 350z...its kinda wimpy...but its kinda perdy....for looks i would actually put it a little higher on the list than the s130.....

Yeah i could of owned a z31, auto but a turbo, it was fast and its still for sale. $1000 bucks. But they look to much like the Vette' of those years. I like the older look, s130 and s30. They just look plain mean.:unibrow:

Sure the original Z33 wasn't the quickest Z...but the '06 not only makes as much power as a stock Z32TT it's also a couple hundered pounds lighter then the Z32TT. On top of that the less powerful '03 model was only a hair slower then the Z32TT...where do you think that puts the more powerful '06 model? I dont think that qualifies as wimpy.

And come on, rating Z's is like putting your kids in order of which you like most...it aint right :p

i plan on judging my kids when i havfe them.....and in races i the tt was faster in the quarter mile...now its still probably faster...i watched the z33 has some like 14.2 flat quarter i think...close to that...the TT has a 13.7.....or soemthign like that...but not only that but for supporting mods power per dollar.....TT will win there to....
oh yeah and i was joking about judging my kids...lol

Those 1/4 times for that Z33 are from the lower powered '03 model.

It's the snobby* 350Z drivers that deserve the title, not the car itself.

(It should be noted that this label does not apply to all Z33 drivers, but rather to the ones that have earned this title.)

Who buys a Z32TT and keeps it stock. Stage three would eat ANY Z33 alive! I raced a Z33 with a Stillen SC and ate it alive in the 1/8 mi. Heck, the NOS powered NA with us went back and forth with the same Z33.

nobody called the S30 wimpy. Nobody called the S130 wimpy. And nobody called the Z31 wimpy. Now in actual performance where does the Z33 rank with those cars? That is my point. How does the second quickest factory Z of all time qualify as wimpy? Theres no arguing that the Z32 TT sits atop the performance totem pole in the Z world. It's a super car in a family of sport and GT cars. Of course as it sits, it wouldn't take much for an improved factory Z33 (or the next generation Z) to have the potential to knock the Z32 out of that spot in the future.

S130, S30, Z31, Z32, Z33, there is list of best to last.(my taste)
Or...280zx, 240-280z, 300zx, 300zx z32, 350z

And the problem with the 350z's, is not just the owners, but the fact they look like other cars on the road. Like the Infiniti, almost the same, it is just more luxurious. I have seen both the 350z, and the Infiniti, up close. Almost the same in body style. And the track times, still don't mean squat to me. I know the 280zx, is not the fastest car out there. But it is more than what you can beat. The looks blow most cars away, and there is just something about the 280zx. That I love, and always have, and it is hard to put in words.

yeah, but neither is saying a Stage 3 will stomp all over a SC 350Z at 4 lbs of boost...haha. Whats that prove? The Z33 isn't a super car? We already know that. A 350HP Z33 cant keep up with a 450+HP Z32? Common sense.

Performance wise I'll rate my top 5:
1. Z32 TT
2. Z33
3. Z32 (non-turbo)
4. Z31 turbo
5. S130 turbo

Looks wise I'll rate them as so:
79-81 S130 slicktop 2 seater
70-74 S30
Z32 (first the later models, then the earlier models. inc. 2+2)
S130 (the rest of the 2 seaters)
late Z31 (2 seater)
early Z31 (2 seater)
75+ S30 (2 seater)
All remaining 2+2's.

All the above is based on factory stock vehicles.

Where are you getting your numbers? 450+hp for a Stg III TT?! I wish! Try 415hp AT BEST! That's at the fly, not at the wheels. And the Z33 that I raced was at 9lbs with a semi built motor (don't know the details). And the same Z33 was beat by an NA...a fast NA that kept up with Stock TT's, but the NA isn't FI, the Z33 is.

I am really partial to my baby. But I do love the lines on the oldy but goodies.

And are we talking wheels or flywheel hp up there? Flywheel would make emo correct with 415 TOPS. (But that would still beat a Z33 anyday of the week)

As you can read in my thread above...I'm talking flywheel....at the wheels, a stg III is going to be WAY under 415hp! That's where power transfer differs so much. A 450hp+ StgIII TT would be amazing! I wish I could spend $2K and have a 450+rwhp TT! That would be amazing! I have upgraded fuel, turbos, etc etc and I don't think I'm at 450rwhp!
