noooo... i'll pass. i like having the fairings in one piece. i get enough kicks out of just sliding the rear into corners on dry pavement. downshift real high slight rear brake action slows it enough to keep you stable got to skid it out under control. how the motoGP guys enter hair pin turns. looks cool and feels cool lol
just watch out, i remember not too long ago taking off on some slippery road, where i was wheels up with the back tire spinning, but i cant downshift into a corner otherwise my back tire locks up and starts hopping. i can only downshift in a strait line and keep it under control. 103mph downshift into first and that back tire skids like a ****.

damn... didnt think it was that high but yeah 106 in first gear on the R1 though im sure its more like 100mph true speed bike speedo's get exponentially inaccurate in the high speeds.... but thats technicalities we are talkin now....
turns out i was thinking of the new R6 that tops about 80 in first gear.

i'm sure 108 is above redline. i'm always amazed in the videos how much above redline those bikes go without thinking twice. does it do any damage? or just shorten the life?
it looks like it is crashed in because it is. the headlight is broken from the deer that i hit. i have the new one now, it's just not in.

yeah, usually when i do top end runs i never get below 13k and usually hold it at 14.5k rpm for about 4-5 minutes at a time, or when i do mountain runs is usually about 10-11k rpm's for 10-20 minutes. just gotta run the right oil and have the correct additives.
well ****. looks like i don't need to sell it anymore. i had everything all lined up and i was going to look at a boat this weekend, then i realized that there is a 20' bridge blocking off the end of the river where the marina that i found is. so lame. that's really dissappointing. i can't find anywhere else to stay. looks like i'm keeping my sweet *** car and living in an apartment.
