Long time no Talk
Hey Guys! I know its been FOREVER since I posted last. Over a year ago I sold my two Zs and got antother car. At the time I just didn't have the time for a project so I put my 83 Z in good hands (WildMan). Well as time went on I found out that my new car was also going to be a project. So I just wanted to ask for a quick question..
I know some of you here are muscle car guys too
Here is my car..

and YES!!! It was painted that way before the movie
Anyways... after putting the new engine I started the car and let it run for a while. After shutting it off I tried taking the keys out of the ignition and they wouldnt release. Kinda like the car wasnt in park. Then after a while.. (5-10 Minutes) the keys release. I've only started it twice so I dont know how consistant this is. Now I recently put a rebuild Tranny into it as well, The Linkage works great and I didnt think that would be a problem.
Anyone have any Idea what would cause somthing like this?
