not saying thats halfass but i wonder what else was done. no offense. i read somewhere a mod u can do to fit a z31 dizzy in a L. i would look for a turbo oil pump as well.

 

i did, but if im going to buy a 200 dollar new dizzy im not going to mutulate its *** end either to fit teh NA... sure it works fine, but it was a PIA and sloppy. i got lucky lol. its turbo oil pump, NA oil pump shaft, turbo dizzy with a grinded up *** end to fit the NA shaft. but if you guys had to say go with one company or the other, which would you say out of:
1) beck/arnely
2)A-1 cardone

ad there was a 3rd but its only showing the 2 comapnies now

which would you guys choose. my dad says beck/arnely. oh yeah and when i go MSII guyss im staying with the dizzy setup and slowly build an EDIS system so i know its done right.


EDIT: oh yeah, and i need a turbo oil pump shaft, lol, so if any one has one lying around or sees one let me know aboot it.

 

beck/arnely is good, i have a spare turbo shaft somewhere but i wont be home for a week or two.

A-1 Cardone is a great company also. That is the dizzy I have in my '82 n/a. Work great without a problem. And it has been in my Z over a year and a half. Of course Beck Arnely is the shiz also. I say either is good whatever you decide. I have Beck Arnely injectors, that are over a year and a half old also. Good stuff both names.

 

you could always drop in an L20b with a single Weber carb and points distributor. Minimal electrical problems with that engine.
