you could also do a concrete floor and epoxy it, very durable and easier to cleanup than a pourous tile.

yeah i have a ugly section of concrete floor that previous owner did on it...thats why i wanted to cover with tiles since epoxy would show

My garage floor is carpeted.

Yah just remember you have to float your floor evenly to get those to stick, so if you have a bunch of uneven floor you'll have to float it first.

Here is the picture of the garage with tile in it. If you do install tile in the garage I would recommend getting a type of tile and mortar that is dark, so it would appear cleaner for a longer period of time. The tile is really easy to clean and is very durabe. I change my 4runner's oil in the garage all the time. I get pretty dirty when working on my car, yet amazingly the tile stays clean and there are no oil stains at all.

If you really want to go crazy you could place tile in the drive way like my brother did, LOL

Yes, black and white are the cheapest colors too, as in a checkered flag. :038:

you have too much time on your hands? i do appreciate the value of beautifully tiled garages, doghouses, cellars, basements, etc!!!!!
ooohhhhh! the Z looks SSSSOOOOOmuch better in a well- appointed room. but, what if the dirty oil spills????

no i want my Z to have a nice floor to sleep on.
thats the thing its so easy to clean up rather then staining the concrete...oil wont soak up into a plastic tile if i mop it up right away!!! :)

There's really cool stuff called "racedeck".

http://www.racedeck.com/

Search the web for the best price. The best part is that it comes up as easy as it went down, so you can take it with you when you move.
