i bought a new used headlight through egay almost a month ago and it never got here. i sent the guy a couple unpleasant messages and he replies saying that his car was broken into and he lost the tracking number, but he sent me another headlight yesterday, so i may potentially get two of them. it's been about 25 days! does this sound like BS and he's just trying to make me forget about it? or should i give it a few more days?

 

BS - he just never sent the first one would be my guess.

 

That would be my guess too. And what sucks is that you're no longer allowed to give negative feedback to sellers. Bad rule IMO....

 

You can still give bad feedback to sellers, they can't give it to buyers.

 

we should have a blacklist for e-bay and other vendors and if anyone is close buy the closets z-driver should go and handle it for the other z driver.

What's the seller's feedback rating and how many feedback does he have?

Did you pay him through Paypal?

What's the link to the ebay item you bought?

 

his feedback was about 97.5% as i recall. he has 38 transactions and yes i paid him with paypal. but, dumb question, if i access that page while i'm logged in, first off, will you be able to view it, second off, will you then be logged into my account?

i sure hope that you can give bad feedback. i'm planning for it to be quite bad. but he did say he would try to do what he could for me to avoid negative feedback. so i'm thinking i may demand another part for a very good price.

#1... Yes we will be able to view the item. Copy & paste the link... it's the same link whether you are logged in to ebay or not.

#2... No, we cannot log on to your ebay account w/o your user name and password.

#3... Have you tried contacting him on the phone?

no haven't talked to him on the phone. he says a new one's in the mail now, so i figured that i'll give it a few more days.
