i dont have any money saved up for college either yet
so im screwed

i feel your pain. i need to find a job, i got out of the navy a few months back and my savings arent going to hold out forever. i want a z32 so bad, and can just about afford one, but then i wouldnt have any $$$$ for gas. everywhere i apply is like "oh, yeah, were hurting for people" or something like that, but they are always too busy to do an interview. at least the gi bill takes care of college. on thursday i get to interview with the dodge dealership that my cousin works at for a car sales job. they say they really like ex military and they need a new sales guy, so i hope i get it. my cousin makes around $1300 a week. i could have a tt in a month. :D wish me luck.

I agree with Z_Wrecker, the best driving music is the singing of the engine and exhaust.

RPS13_GZ32 05-03-2005 01:05 AM

damn I need an exhaust system....soon

well i used to have a kick ass stereo, but after having every single car i have ever owned broken in to and jacked, i dont put the money into stereo anymore. just carry my discman on long drives. other than that, its the tune of my exhaust i jam to. currently though ive been listening to push to talk, zion i, aesop rock, benefit, yuckmouth and mixed cd's.

That's why many Ferrari's don't come with stereo's.

'Tallica, 'Tallica, & more 'Tallica!!!
i'm hooked on some of the Live stuff i've downloaded from their site.
on occasion i'll listen to some megadeth, velvet revolver, G 'n' R, audioslave, rob zombie, etc.
when i feel like bumpin tho, i'll pull out some oldschool rap, NWA, Beastie boys, or some old Bass cd's from my basshead days. Dj Magic Mike or some good ol' Chicago House music mix cd's.
What can i say, i'm a product of my environment. :D

I like Metallica (old school) None of that new sh#t! Megadeth, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Dream Theater, which is also Liquid Tension experiment. Rush, '80's thrash, death metal. classic rock. And some new stuff like Linkin' Park, Disturbed, Chevelle, Queens of the Stone age, mostly what 98KUPD plays here in Mesa. I can't wait to cruise in my Z again, and rock that car from the inside out! Long live Heavy Metal, and Z cars! And like I have said before Metal, and Z's rock!

If you like metal check out these two videos by Kamelot. I discovered them a couple of weeks ago and they have a distinct sound that I really like. The first one is more aggressive than the second but they both sound awesome.

Download realplayer and try it. Or if you have quicktime you can see the first video here : http://www.kamelot.com
Their style is heavy yet melodic, you would just have to hear it. The vocals are what really sets it apart.

The links above are streams. Here is a download link to the second vid in windows media format, which might work for you. http://www.kamelot.com/video/Kamelot_TH_making.wmv

Whoa that is friggin' awesome! The vocals are like a mixture of Geoff Tate of Queensryche, Ray Alder from Fates Warning, and some Helloween vocals, can't remember his name off hand. It just needs a little melodic lead thrown in. But otherwise it kick major #ss! Where can I get this Cd? And are they a new band? I sing metal, and rock at Karoke, also I have been in a couple of bands. That is kind of the sound I want my band if I had another one to sound like! Thanks for the video link bro'!

I got my CD from www.target.com. They have been around for a while and they just put this CD out The Black Halo. They changed their style somewhat in this one(darker, heavier) as compared to their old stuff. I think the new stuff sounds better :) But yeah, get it man.

^Oops, that's the making of the video, nevermind^ You would need realplayer to see the actual video.
