can we talk about this??? Who likes to chew the cud while they work on their car? I can't work without my citrus skoal! even though it's like $6.50 a tin....

 

i'd love a smoke every once in a while and always enjoy some type of alachol when i work on my car

i've been wanting to try chewing tobacco again but i don't want to spend the money and not like it. what would you recommend for a new guy?

i cant stand when people dip when im at school working on a car. they spit that crap where im working and i get p.o so i make the little nubs clean the whole shop.

 

yeah i have a clean spit, usually through my teeth so it doesn't get those giant wads, for a newbie, tonsof I'd definately try citrus skoal "pouches" there's like 20 in a tin, then work up to the long cut. pouches are clean so no irritated throat if you swallow. Don't swallow for a few weeks, cuz you'll probably vomit. I don't vomit unless I"m sick but i was still pretty cautious!! Now when I'm at school in pe i spit but i swallow in class.

 

i enjoy a nice fresh hand rolled cigarette every once in a while, when **** gets tough, but almost never beyond that. i think i have smoked twice for the sake of being social. if your smoking because you feel like it or you crave it, you need to start thinking about quiting before it kills you.

 

im bad, i smoke, ive done dip usually wintergreen but i get antsy and its very occaisionally, beer and cigs is my poison when working on cars. however im a little sick so no more smoking for a while....

 

chew is nasty, However I loves me a camel wide.....or you know, 30-40 of em...... I should cut back...

 

To smokers and chewers the whole world is a trash can, butts and wads everywhere. I used to do it too. One day my little girl ran up to give me a hug and almost got my cig in her face. That was it for me, I stopped the next day cold turkey (2 1/2 packs a day). At $4 a pack I'd much rather have a brand new Z.

Chewing....never had the urge to put that crap in my mouth...Smoking I smoked 10 years...and quit December 23, 2005 7pm...cold turkey...But I only smoked less than a pack a day..Unless I was stressing... Then it was a little more..Or when I was drinking..I would smoke more...So glad to not have that expensive disgusting habit..

no she didn't im just really immature and don't give a f@#$!!! but im actually smarter than i act. i graduated with a 3.5 gpa and got in the second highest tier on my asvab or was it the highest. im not sure but i could care less. i guess im just trying to be a kid again cause it sucks being an adult and having responsibility's and ****.

GPA inflation has been on the rise for a long time and it isn't really a measure of how smart you are. Neither is the ASVAB, the ASVAB is made to see if you're smart enough to hold a gun and if you score high all it means is you get to specialize in a certain area of the military.

that GPA inflation is true. i didn't crack a book all through high school and still made out with a 3.3. but it got me into a good mech. eng. program, so i'm satisfied. the working starts next year...
but as dumb as i am, i still find myself a bit too smart to smoke and chew... no offense, because i don't want to make enemies here. but that is my view

 

same, not a single read through HS and made it with a 3.5 in honors classes and a 27 on the ACT. now in college i fluctuate between a 2.7 and a 3.4 lol. i dont like studying or going to class..... there i said it! and ray had a few noob moments but at least he was abled to get the 260 running unlike someone who gave up on carbs...... anyways... i think this thread is about nicotine addiction so lets get back on that.

 

yeah lets. I'm chewing mint right now (just a little cuz dads in the next room) and it actually leaves my breath really fresh feeling! As for smoking, meh I tried cigarettes but I'm just too scared and they're too weak and $$. I only make a hundred bucks a week right now w/my new job so....
