Car Polish
This past weekend I tried Nu Finish car polish on my Z and wanted to pass my observations onto anyone who's interested.
When I first applied the polish I used too much...so don't use too much at a time. I found it best to use a little at time on a wet rag and apply in a circular motion. I believe a cloudy day might be better than a direct sunlight day when applying the polish. Another thing you might want to note is this; If you get the Nu Finish polish on any plastic parts it will stain it. Of course I found this out the hard way thinking I could just wipe it off the plastic with a wet rag...not a chance..... It stains it white and looks terrible. So I checked the internet and and followed another persons suggestion of using smooth peanut butter on a damp rag to remove the white polish staining off my plastic parts and it worked awesome! Not the most exciting post but might be useful to some. :) |
When in doubt, read the instructions. :080:

Agreed
This an important point. I just wish the instructions would have provided a warning not to allow any of the polish to touch the plastic parts.
