No, that isn't the point at all. I could explain until I'm blue in the face and I don't think you'd understand. I can do (and have done) whatever the hell I want with my car within reason and financial restraints but you will always do things by the book, i.e. "how it should be done." That's what your attitude says anyway. You don't have much info posted on your car and I don't have enough interest to search your posts to find out more.
Like I said, I'm not taking any sides here. You should appreciate that.

and you havent been here a month and you have figured out everyones prefrences? i have financial restraints too, im not like snw who gets everything from mommy and daddy, if it was up to me my zx would have an ls1, some crazy 12 wide wheels, and all the negative camber i could get out of it... but i dont have the resources (hell i dont even have a 1 car garage) or the money to do anything but keep my car the way it was made... and cause a 81 NA 2+2 is like a honda, its worth more unmodified...

Well thanks for telling me where I am. There have been times when I could actually have used that kind of help. My car is not a hybrid. It is modified. Nissan overbuilt the z31 in some areas, compromised in a detrimental way in others, and just plain ****ed up some parts. I try to improve it. It's a great car but like the z's before and after, it isn't holy and shouldn't treated as such. I may be unfamiliar to you and most of the people who frequent this board but I'm not new to this board. I first posted at zdriver under a different ID back around 2001. There were a lot of people here then who knew about cars and for various reasons were looking for an alternative to the other z boards. It's more of a chat board now than anything. But more to the point, I don't know or care about everyone's preferences. I came here out of boredom and curiosity about the site's progression. It's disappointing to me personally but if the people who post here like it, who am I to judge.
The posters here don't seem too welcoming to new members or old members coming back under a new ID. I've seen one or two posters come in since I came back and they were welcomed. They don't know much about modifying cars so maybe somebody's motherly instinct kicked in. Or maybe it's just an arbitrary thing. Most of them seem defensive and insecure in there status. I haven't had any exchanges with Bleach but if he used to go by the ID bleachzee and sold me a 3" muffler long ago then I do remember him.
Anyway, to sum it up, I'm an outsider here too but I try not to let it become a personal antagonism thing. I come here and if there's a question I can answer then I answer it. Then I leave, hopefully w/o making any new enemies.
That might be a goal for you to shoot for. The reason I know you so well is because you're like an open book. A comic book or a juvie sci-fi book that is so predictable as to be almost parody.

no i would have voted for obama had i been old enough, and i was actually a member of the lowndes high young democrats for a little while durring the election(this was the first year of its existance because i am in GA which is like the home of the conservative party)

argh... this has gotten outta hand, really childish, and not even appropriately placed. also mike, don't let this snot nosed new member (2by2) represent us in anyway, our traffic is much slower than from back when (i was around probably close to the time you left and there were many more people and much smarter to) but we still get some regulars with great minds just because its a bit more relaxed of a board, though that also what allows the "kids" to stay around more frequently and i think might kill the traffic some when they see the childish antics such as this and the not so friendly impression they leave on people and think its ok.
