I so love the black but holy shit it scratches so extremely easy and shows dirt like no other but its so pretty! lol

SportBikeMike 08-29-2011 08:09 PM

Very nice!:038:

NismoPick 08-29-2011 08:54 PM

Now you can tow whatever you want. :D

I used to love black, until I had a black car... I will never have black again. :wasted:

BlueKitsune 08-29-2011 09:10 PM

Yep! BTW if you goto the SLC Ken Garff on.... West Temple? In their locked lot behind the Taffy Town building across the street from them, my 280ZX is there. I need to go back and tow it home next payday lol

And I know what you mean! Its so freaking hard to keep black clean and it scratches amazingly easily! My 300ZX is the same way.

NismoPick 08-29-2011 10:18 PM

Hum... maybe I'll drive by and take a pic for ya. :D

BlueKitsune 08-30-2011 05:26 AM

lol if you want to, its actually facing the street if I remember right

miss my titan but i dont miss being at the gas pump every couple days. Wish they would put the VK56DE in a frontier ;)

BlueKitsune 08-30-2011 06:56 PM

Wow really? I actually haven't filled my tank yet from when the dealer filled it XD which is over 300 miles now

It's like a ford frame, with random bits of dodge, a toyota interior, body and suspension with a nissan driveline.

I'll keep my dodge, it may get 12mpg an have a 34 gallon tank, but it beats a car payment and I can fix it with a screwdriver and some bailing wire. (literally)

I just got tired of fixing stuff and I wanted something nice and new

BlueKitsune 09-03-2011 09:47 AM

Hey Nismo, did you ever go snap a pic of my Z? If you still want to you may want to before noon today when I pick it up!

NismoPick 09-03-2011 03:21 PM

Negative... I didn't have time to go downtown this week. :022:

BlueKitsune 09-03-2011 03:33 PM

I wish I left it there now.

Pulled over on US-40 doing 91 in a 65.

No seriously. Anyone want to buy this Z? $1000 OBO

hehe... I got a speeding ticket the other day by an undercover hp (85 in a 65 in my Bimmer)... he also gave me several other "warnings". :D First ticket in 4 years... doh.

CWHammer was looking for a 280zx body (https://www.zdriver.com/forums/wanted-wtb-wtt-70/desperate-need-s130-body-33387/).

EDIT... I attached the speeding ticket pdf... looks like yours is $340. :D

BlueKitsune 09-03-2011 03:55 PM

I was going to offer him that Z but my Z's body isn't the best either. BTW Dealer said they could get me a rear fender for $1025.

And I REALLY didn't need to know that... Bleh Oh well. This is my first ticket in...ever actually now that I think of it.

WildmaN 09-05-2011 06:48 PM

I think undercover highway patrol's are cowards. I can't stand sneaky cops, of course I pretty much know all the types of cars they use, and the colors down here. :D

BlueKitsune 09-09-2011 05:39 PM

Ditto. Tho this one was just classic hiding in the bushes.

Nismo I hate you. my ticket was $340 lol Darn no CAI for the Titan this month lol

A tip about black paint, never ever use a brush at the car wash, find a good one that has the pre wash, or do Like I do and only wash at home, with a nice lambs wool mitt and micro fiber towels.

Also, wash it at dusk so the water doesn't evaporate as fast.

BlueKitsune 09-10-2011 09:39 AM

I've been going through the really good touch less auto wash here in town then after I'm out I finish up with a Microfiber cloth to wipe up whats left of the water. So far it still looks brand new! lol
