That's my point exactly...I would think it would be more expensive to get gas delivered to Idaho than it would be to get it to CA. Why is so much more expensive here? It sure as hell isn't because we have better gas. We only get 91 octane.

Rizz to answer your question, at least in Idaho, I just got pulled over last night twice in 5 minutes and got a no insurance ticket the 1st time. I found out today that not only do I have to pay the $107.50 ticket but I have to get insurance and carry an SR-22 which doubles my insurance rate. I'll be paying $81.50 per month for liability now. Even after all of this they are still going to suspend my license so I have to pay a reinstatement fee after showing proof of insurance. And the icing on the cake is if my insurance lapses my insurance agent is required to notify DOT within 24 hours so they can suspend license again. I think I'd rather pay for insurance than do this $hit again.

I'm pretty sure he was kidding. That sucks though. Damn cops. Why don't they find someone committing a real crime.

This kinda reminds me of the cartoon when the bulldog, Sylvester and Tweety all wound up in the hospital. The dynamite in the leg cast was classic.

Well, I was kinda kidding when I stated about the no insurance tickets.
When I was younger and had the Z, insurance was costing me about 1200 every 6 mos. I figured instead of giving my money away, i'd just take the ticket. I got one ticket in one year, $500. Hey, I just saved myself $1900 that year. In the state of Illinois they don't seem to follow up on stuff. They just basically want my money and that's about it. That's the major point of pulling ppl over all the time anyway. They just wanna get paid. The cops want new cars every year, the judges want new robes, and the court stenographers get new steno machines. My, my, my, how the world goes 'round.

I don't think they're not letting you drive because of an old ticket. They may be afraid you'll break your leg again. You know how dangerous it can be to clutch your Z.

Yeah that little sticker says a lot. NEVER have an NRA emblem on your vehicle, if your stopped sop is assumed armed. Personaly I have a Springdale PD on my truck glass, same as the shoulder patch on the uniform and a blue flag with black stripe on it. One of the club members blue flag has an "A" on it meaning associate. He's a deputy. Only got stopped once where they searched and found my S&W 59 it was in the trunk and took them 30 mins to locate it, it was in a carry bag. It was loaded and chambered, they unloaded it and replaced it in the trunk on opposite side of the clips.
