....he probably told them what kind of V8 was in it.

He should have said it was a stock 280ZX turbo with a little bit of added boost

I could be totally wrong, but it sounds like he has a two-speed auto tranny that can take full advantage of the turbo (in a drag-racing scenario).

i can honestly say that i've rode in a car like that but with the stock turbo motor... boost added and some suspension ran 11.12 at 121 and its a b*tch coming off the line! definatly a put a hundred on the dash and try like hell to grab it experience
