Fs 1979 280zx
 

After much consideration, I have decided I need to sell my 1979 280ZX. It is located in San Antonio, TX. If you are willing to come get it, I am asking $650.

The car is yellow - an awesome color for the ZX. I have a used engine I purchased to install into the car which was running prior to puchase. I'll even let you use my engine hoist to install on location! At the moment, it would be the perfect car to install a Chevy 350 in and drive without any body-work. If you want a perfect paint/body you'll have to repair only a couple of very small areas, but it looks awesome the way it is.

The interior needs some work, but seats are in good shape for the age. It has a 140 mph speedo (maybe 130, I forget). The carpet looks good, but the windows leak (vent windows, I think) so it has had water in the carpet a few times and I would install carpet - that was planned.

It comes with an extra engine, alt, and other parts, if you want them. If you only want it for 350 conversion, we can negotiate on the price/terms of the deal.

I am willing to transport the car within ~250 mile radius as long as the buyer is willing to pay for trailer rental, fule cost, and a nominal fee (total about $150 give/take).

Body w/ driveshaft only - $500 (for 350 or other engine conversion)
w/ two engines, transmission - $650

Wow man, that is a sweet looking Z! Cleaner than I thought it would be. And your price is really great. I am sure it wont take long for somebody to jump on your offer. I would if I was close, and had the extra money. Good luck selling that pretty clean ZX.:)
