77 280Z in Lancaster PA for $3800
77 280Z in Lancaster PA for $4500
I am selling my 1977 280Z. The car located in Lancaster, PA. I have owned it since 1999. It was silver when I bought it (in Connecticut). I painted it dark red several years ago. The car is in very good shape. The car has about 175,000 miles. Asking price: $4,500 or best offer.
I have performed the following work over the last 11 years:
1. Rebuilt engine with high performance Nissan parts, which includes:
- blueprinted engine with high performance stainless steel valves from Nissan and three angle valve seat grinding (performed at local race car machine shop),
- high performance Nissan camshaft (over $500)
- high performance Nissan pistons and rings,
- the block was bored and honed,
- the crankshaft was grinded to the next size,
- replaced all seals and gaskets, bearings and seals (all from Nissan),
- repainted the block and oil pan (I used blue paint that supposely matches the original Nissan color),
- machined flywheel to reduce weight and re-balanced it,
- installed new clutch (Nissan OEM clutch)
- installed new high performance Nissan oil pump,
- installed new Nissan injectors with custom made stainless holders.
2. Replaced the rear end with 3.7 and LSD from 300Z. The differential was rebuilt by professional with Nissan OEM parts.
3. Rebiult drive shafts.
4. Installed Tokico shocks and E-bach springs.
5. Installed larger diameter exhaust without catalytic converter. I have the original exhaust, which will be included in this sale.
6. Installed larger sway bars.
7. Installed 17” wheels and high performance Bridgestone tires. Original wheels will be included in this sale. New wheels have Ultra High performance summer tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS pole position). They are still like new.
8. I have removed AC pump and lines. I have all AC parts and they will be included in this sale.
9. Replaced the starter with the one rebuilt by Nissan.
10. Replaced clutch master and slave cylinders (all Nissan parts).
11. Replaced brake master cylinder (Nissan part) and brake hoses (with stainless steel ones automarket parts).
12. Replaced the air intake with K&B cold intake (original intake parts are included in the sale).
13. Many other small parts, such as cups, wires etc.
14. I also installed variable resistor to adjust fuel/air ratio.
15. Restored steel fuel and coolant lines (zinc chromating or something, do not remember exactly)
16. I have manually filed and polished intake manifold to obtain more aerodynamic appearance.
I have some other small parts (like rear window seals), that I was planning to install but still have in the bags.
I have a lot of original parts that came with this car: fire extinguisher, wheel lockers, tools and many more.
The car has some rust under the hood (around the hinges). There are some small rust spots here and there, but nothing really big. The walls behind the wheels were reinforced. This was done by an aerospace qualified welder.
Dashboard has two cracks. Passenger’s seat cover has one crack but the
Driver’s seat cover has several cracks.
I have most of the receipts. I will be happy to provide more information via e-mail or over the phone. Please call (717) 581-8269 or e-mail to newbielink:mailto:seryozhka.s@gmail.com
Sincerely,
Sergey
