1983 280ZX Turbo 5-speed T-tops SOLD

$850 obo - SOLD
Digital dash, Nissan 5-speed (not a T5), stock engine, runs and drives great but could use a new turbo. This car belongs to a friend. He bought a different turbo Z with a better body so this one is extra and just needs to be sold.
Hood does not open all the way but the hood should be replaced anyway as well as some other front end work.
15" American Racing wheels with proper center caps.
The dash does have a couple small cracks witch are hard to see; located at the forward base of the gauge cluster cover. Floor mats are 280ZX Turbo mats.

Located in the south Seattle area.

How much are we asking? how does it run? was this car origonally a 5speed or an auto. how many miles does this car have. And the damage to the front is only cosmetic, or is there any bent mountings, from the looks all it need is a hood, front bumper, and headlight buckets.

Doy you have any more pics?

Thanks,
Eric Wolf

I am the owner of the 83 Turbo car, Bleach let me store it at his location and has helped me with some issues with the new turbo car. Thanks Bleach.... The alignment fix is very close.
I drove the car for 2 1/2 years mainly to work and back, has been one of the most reliable cars I have owned.
Runs great, gets about 23mpg, just passed WA emissions test and new tabs until Mar 07 , clear title. Has about 180k miles. I drove the car to Portland and back when I bought the new one, about 400mi roundtrip.
The car has always been a 5speed, someone put in the nissan trans before I aquired it, the front bumper mounts are bent, they need to be straightened, the hood replaced. Aside from that, it needs a new heater control valve, and the turbo. The wheels are 15x7 with 205 60 good tires.

It says in the first post
$1500 or offer, south Seattle area of Washington state.

Yes the car is still available. We have received no offers yet.

The bumper mounting brackets are bent so there is some bending of the front that will need to be done. Both fenders and hood should be replaced for a good repair. From looking under the car, it looks like the damage is all in front of the radiator support.

Frank is going to steal all the 280ZXs in the states. How many miles does the engine have on it?

It has about 185k on it now. I drove it again while my blue Z coupe was down for a few months. Has new pbr front pads and a new ignition switch/lock assembly I installed Saturday.
