ECZA Spring Meet 2005

The East Coast Z Association will host its first meet of 2005 on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Carv2 Performance and Tuning in Newport, Delaware. The event will be a dyno day featuring dyno tuning by Ashley Powers of ASH-SPEC Performance and Tuning (http://www.ashspecz.com/). Ashley Powers will be doing ECU upgrades and dyno tuning for the 300ZX using his Zemulator software.

ECZA members can hang out the entire day and meet representatives of Carv2 (http://www.carv2.com). For those that attended our ECZA/UAS car show in August of 2004, Carv2 was on hand with their 650hp 350Z.

Come out and enjoy our first meet of the season.

Details and dyno prices for the event can be found at:

Hope to see lots of you there!

There has been some interest in having some paintless dent removal done.

It looks like Rick of disappearingdents.com will be on hand to do paintless dent repair and windshield repair for those that are interested. They will also be doing demos and have an area for demonstrations etc.

I don't have any personal experience with them but they have been doing work on Carv2's show cars for sometime. If you are interested you can contact Rick at Rick@DisappearingDents.com or 302 598 9745 to set something up in advance.

Many Z'ers are talking about heading up to Englishtown Raceway after the event for the test & tune drag racing in the evening session which starts at 3pm.

For those that don't go drag racing we will be heading out someplace local to Carv2 to get something to eat.

Meet Update:

I just wanted to remind everyone about this meet in Newport, Del. We have gotten a huge response to this event. Ashley Powers is already in town and will be dyno tuning Z's (300ZX) all day.

We have paintless dent repair set up through Carv2 for anyone interested. Carv2's lot should hold about 200 cars and we are expecting 75-100 Z's if the weather holds. Street Trenz magazine will be on hand with their new 350Z project car and at least one of their models.

We will be giving away goodies for all that attend (thanks to StreetNeeds.com and Down Shift Magazine) and prizes for the highest dynos.

We have carvans coming from NJ/NY and folks traveling down from Pittsburg and Ohio. We plan on going out to get something to eat afterwards. I know of several folks that are heading up to the Etown drag event that night.

If anyone has any questions or needs any additional info feel free to contact me.
