New 350z & I need help..

Hello fellow users,

Well, recently i have bought a 2005 350z Enthusiast. I have been planning a lot for this car and Im quite exited for the times to come, but i do need a lot of help and this has always been the place to get it.
My goals for this car is to have a nice 350z with a good amount of HP and overall stylish (no huge wings, or 2fast2furious decals)
Like always im on a budget and i would like to start off with small mods that can increase hp and then go FI.

-In HP i am looking for around 400-450HP

Firstly, i need opinions on the plenum spacer and the MREV2 Manifold.
I am looking for a decent amount of hp before i go FI.

Things I've done research on but still don't quite understand and would like other peoples opinions are:

-2 Step Rev limiter
-Iso thermal Plenum Spacer & MREV2
-Cold Air Intake
-Test Pipes?
-600cc Fuel injectors

And on another note:

-Wheel size, Lip size, and all that offset stuff i just can't understand.

Thank you guys please chime in and help I'm sounding like a noob but i really like this car and i don't want to waste any unnecessary money or hurt the car..

Please continue to research. Very minimal gain on it's own.

Removes & replaces the catalytic converter. Will probably throw an O2 sensor code on OBDII cars. Frees up a few ponies.

ECU needs to be tuned to control larger injectors.

About 23097904237 websites explain wheel measurements. :D

Here's one from Google: How do wheel offsets work? | World One Performance Blog

Honestly, believe it or not this helped a lot, but i heard that the plenum spacer and the MREV2 actually gives you around 20hp more ...

Unknown intake help.

Weapon-R Neo Titanium Intake? hp gains? good or not?

NismoPick 04-04-2013 08:57 PM

Do you just randomly ask about stuff you see on the internet?
I really don't get it... You can post the question here, but not on Google?

And do you have a 350z or 370z?

New 350z

I just bought my self a 2005 350z and my goal is to reach the 400-450hp but would like some help on mods that i can begin with that are not FI. Ive done some research and this is all i have..

In the shopping cart:
-Motordyne 5/16 Plenum spacer
-Stillen (CAI) *
-Redline Performance coated long tube headers
-Ichibas Test pipes

In the near future:
-Uprev Orisis Tuner**
-FI
-Performance Cams

*-Still not sure to go with stillen but have heard good things.
**-Not sure if the best for my car.

I still don't get it. Did you hear about the "Weapon-R Intake" from a friend? Or online?

The only thing I am doing to answer your question is typing your question in Google... so instead of doing your own research, I'm doing it for you...

Quick question.

I have a quick question but what have you guys that are running around the 400-450 hp done to youre cars, i would like some feed back so please chime in.. Thanks

NismoPick 04-05-2013 08:37 PM

Merged threads AGAIN.

Is it seriously this hard? [that's what she said]. I'm not sure how you managed to buy a 350z...

:035:

Acasper13 04-06-2013 12:01 PM

I dont understand youre the only one that answers (no offense)

NismoPick 04-06-2013 12:11 PM

I'm the only one who answers you because there are no 350z owners here... they are all at my350z.com. If you asked these questions there, you would have been banned in 30 seconds.

And really, I don't know how you managed to buy a 350z, or how you even feed yourself in the morning, yet can't find the most simple answers on the internet.

I'm not trying to be mean, I am trying to get you to use your brain. :D

WanganDevilZ 04-06-2013 04:30 PM

I try not to look at my first posts, I looked like an idiot when I was 18...

In other news, recapping what Marc said:
Home | My350z

Look around, use the search. They have boost, tuning, and wheel sections.

There are hardly any 350z people here at zdriver, we aim at S30-Z32 series Z-cars

gixxert 04-08-2013 06:49 AM

i have a 350z offset for wheels around positive 22 if you go 9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears

test pipes are a good mod just get ones that wont trip the check engine light

go with intake spacer thats all you need

jwt pop charger

dont go with a short throw shifter waste of time

any other rookie questions you arent gonna search just pm me
