let's here it...turbo or s/c

ok we got a z that's gettin worked on for show car purposes. this is also a daily driver.

we've done exhaust and intake mods.

next thing we're looking at is forced induction. but what method?

so we'd like to hear what you all think, and why. it will help us make our decision, and hopefully a good one.

we're looking for makes of the products too. currently we have our sites on a Power Enterprises of Japan turbo kit.

so, post away and let's see what options we have.

The Daytona Blue Z will be featured in next month's Performance Auto Sound magazine.

Get the latest copy of Car And Driver the one with the new GTO on it. Inside you will find an article about the Silver State Run. They show a 350Z with 690 Horsepower. It has twin turbos and cost about 100,000 to build. The sad thing is it only made 7 miles before blowing a right front and plowing into the desert. The car is pretty much junk. But the info you need for parts is there.
Good luck to ya

If money is no object...

then I would say go turbo. I've seen turbo and supercharger kits for the 350Z and obviously the turbo kits always make more power. If there is a budget involved though the s/c kits are much less expensive. Depends on how tricked out you want the car to be, I guess.

I would say SC... Seems easier to install and more efficient.

my friend was looking around and found this site...i guess its just a brand of super charger, but it sounds like its a good way to go.

how about twin charging

How about this if its for show then get a custom intake manifold made that way you can twin charge it, what is twin charging you say? twin charging is using a sc and a turbo, common on older mr2's, which allows you to eliminate the "turbo lag" problem by having the instant power of the sc that also feeds the turbo which then creates more power, where this is realy noticed is on accelaration, if it were me this is what i would do, its better than twin turbo, and would get you more looks than a standard "run of the mill" turbo or sc. just my 2 cents
