what year? tranny?

looking to buy a 32. how is the auto. in these cars?
why isnt the ;96 the best yr.? normally the 1st.
and last yr. are the most wanted?

the auto's are mainly good for daily driving, but some people tend to think they are worthless piles of crap. the last year they went to OBD2 and you lost VVT and there is some more smog crap. i think the best year is a 94-95, just make sure the car your getting has been properly maintained over the years..

half of the first year had soft valves.

most people dont like the last year due to OBD2, but if youre not looking for tons of horsepower, then its not a problem.

yea, if you use ethanol. theres an easy DIY fix for it.

mid-'94-'95 are arguably the best. as new as you can get and still be OBD 1. and most of the common little problems were fixed by then.

auto transmissions in Zs have always been junk. the manuals are pretty bulletproof though.

never had a problem with the auto's even after i overheated and neglected it countless times..

one fault with Z manual tranny, synchros blew nuts. usually developed a grind from was it 3-4 or 2-3 ? one of those. my Z had it. but regular tranny fluid changes will help with that. got rid of my grind for a while

i get it from 1-2 sometimes. thats the only one that does it on mine.

4-5th for me. Only if Hadn't flushed it. And when it was being driven hard.
Yeah, 94-95's are the car to to have.
