Well I think the Z is done
I was driving on the freeway to go cash my check and all of a sudden the car died when I finally got it started again there was this really bad squealing sound when you accelerate and also a knocking sound like somthing was caught somewhere and couldn't get out (not anything like a rodknock tho) it still drove but not very well and you couldn't accel for anything.Does anybody know what this might be,how much it would be to fix, or if possible I could fix myself thanks

Boy you left alot of unanswered questions. Like water temp. oil pressure, were you up or down shifting when it happened, how much oil is in the car, does it have water.
Could be anything from a clutch going out, to a transmission seizing to a belt shredding to something in the engine.
Please more details. The more details the easier it is o narrow it down to the problem.

Everything was fine when I was driving the oil the water temp it just decided it did not want to go anywhere for a little bit and the rattling sounds like it's coming from under the timing belt cover along with the squealing I visually checked all the belts except timing and they were fine no oil leak or coolant leak(As a matter of fact I just flushedthe rad) and I wasn't shifting at all just cruising it on the freeway and I was in fourth gear I was going about 55 in fourth because of the way traffic was I don't think it's the tranny because when I changed the clutch master/slave cylinder she would grab nicely and she ran smooth actually she ran smoother than any car I've drivin so far until this happened as soon as she died and I got her started she started to run like **** can't accelerate cuz she wants to cut out and if you try to accelerate the rattling gets louder thats all I can think of right now if you guys have any other questions to help figure this out quicker please let me know thanks

Don't run your motor. Pull the covers and check your timing. If it's there, dig a little deeper and check the tensioner and pullies. It might be that one the the bearings went out in one of the pullies or something like that. It might be that the belt slipped a tooth or two, or if a bearing is bad, it might not have slipped teeth, but because of the slack, your cam timing is off, causing it to run that way.
Thar's a first step.
When I did my T-belt a coupla weeks ago, I was surprised at how loose the tensioner pulley bearings were..... ie: worn.

Sounds (just a guess) like one of your idler bearings on the timing belt might have gone out. It's possible your cams might be out of timing. I hope not much as then you'll have valve damage.
How many miles since the last timing belt change? and were the bearing changed at the same time?
The rattling could be a bad idler bearing, the squealing could be from a frozen bearing causing the belt to slip on it.
Eather way Please pull the front timing cover and check this out, and hope no real damage has been done
Edit...Sorry CC I was on the phone when you posted and didn't see your post, and just repeated your advice.

Thanks guys for the advice I will be sure to check this out asap and also I have no idea when the last time the timing belt was changed I just picked it up from a buddy of mine and he only had the car about a year and 8 months of that year it just sat cuz he didn't know how to do the clutch master/slave cylinder and didn't want to get ripped off by a shop. Do you guys know of any shops that would do a good job as well as not charge an arm and a leg to fix it ? I'm located in Las vegas so if any of you vegas guys know feel free to chime in thanks for all the help guys

I didnt read if you have tried this yet...i would run an ECU diagnostics check...very quick qnd easy and you might get an idea of where to start digging depending on which codes your ECU spits out. Good Luck!
