Hi there Im a new 300 TT Z owner. Im keeping my standard alloys at present and need new tyres at the rear. I currently have the standard 225/50/16's on the 7.5 inch rims. Dose anyone know if i can fit wider tyres on these rims and if so what size? Many thanks.

Well, if you have a TT, you should have 8.5" in the rear with 245/45/16's and 7.5" in the front with 225/50/16's. So you have some investigating to do as to why your car is like this. I recommend Toyo Proxes T1S's, Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions, or Yokohama AVS Sports.

 

I am in the UK. My car is fresh over from Japan. From my limited experience of seeing other standard Jap and UK spec 300's they all run 7.5 inch rims all round. You may be correct but i think it may just be an american standard. Any ideas on the tyre sizes for 7.5 inch rims then? Thanks.
