Turboing a NA 2+2
 

I’m looking to turbo my NA 2+2 300zx. I’ve gone forum to forum seeing if it was possible but I’m getting mixed answers. I know it’s not recommended but i’d rather figure out how to turbo the NA engine the do a full swap on a 2+2 since the 4 seaters never came turboed. I just came across a website saying to check the health of the engine. But my first question is if I turboed it should I run better NA spark plugs or get vg30dett spark plugs to work?

You are considering turbo charging the N/A engine and your first question is what spark plug to use?

I would think why didn't Nissan just turbo the N/A engine instead of using a lower compression engine would be a better start.
