I was swapping out bellhousings on my trans and mistakenly took apart the trans at the wrong spot. In the below picture I separated it at the yellow and red spot, not the actual bellhousing. Now my question is does that spot require RTV? It seems to be a difficult part to fully pull apart so it is hard to see but it looks like there is no gasket residue there so wondering if its needed at all. I know the green to red part needs it.
