12-14 psi is 0.83-0.97 bar.

From the factory, a TT should only boost 9.5psi, which is about .65bar. Under no circumstances should a stock TT boost more than 12 psi before getting at least an ECU upgrade.

alright, well i was running about 1.2 bars and its kinda got shakin by it. I havnt had any ecu upgraded or anything. So well how could you tell if you got a ecu upgrade and do you think i should get a manuel or a EBC controller to turn down the boost or leave at is. just wanna know what i should do so that way i can keep my motor goin.

1.2bar is about 18psi You definitely need to turn that down. As far as the ECU goes, some companies will put a sticker on it after they chip it. Others you will have to open it up and look inside (if you know what to look for). You could open it and snap a pic to put up here too.

As far as manual or electronic on the BC: go with what your budget will allow. Either one will work fine. Electronic is more convenient but pretty costly. Just dont go to cheap or you may regret it

2nd.

I want to know how you're getting 18psi to begin with... the turbos are actually preset for 6psi, but there are stock restrictors in the lines that cause it to boost to 9-9.5psi. (That's why safety boost is 6psi, it's the lowest possible boost setting for the car.) If you're boosting 18psi, either your wastegate vacuum lines are clogged, they're not even connected, or you have malfunctioning wastegates. A properly working TT won't boost that high without a boost controller. No matter what, though... stop full throttling it before you detonate that thing to the afterlife.
