Stalling after going over rough road.
I have a 1990 300zx. The car starts fine and runs just fine until I go over a few bumbs in the road. As I go over the bumps i notice my RPMs start to dropp dramaticaly and the car even stalls after going over a few bumps in the road. After the car stalls it starts right back up and if it is a smooth road i have no problem with the car only when there is a little rough road. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Electrical connection
Sounds like you have a short or a loose connection that is moving when you go over bumps. Id check the engine bay 1st, make sure all your connectors are seated, you might want to unplug each connector and clean it with a good electrical cleaner. Also , check your fuses and relays and make sure they have good clean connections, battery also.

depending
ok well what happens does anything electrical like flicker, or does it just feel like it is starving for fuel. if electrical flicker or anything of that sort then you are on your own because this car is so in depth with the electrical system. if it feels like it is starving for fuel just go with the obvious first. the fuel filter. if it is gunked up going over a bumpy road might of loosened everything up in the filter and clogged the outlet. Good Luck
