Security system and starter
 

I just bought a 91 ZX NA. I was cleaning the battery terminals and when I reconnected, the security system was activated. This includes killing the starter motor. I have done everything that the owners manual says to deactivate but it continues to lock out the starter. Help!

try to turn off the alarm by turning your key in the drivers side door to the unlock position. that should deactivate your alarm.

that happened to me too until i did that ;)

if that doesn't work....do it to your passenger side door

my security light keeps blinking even when i lock and un lock the key to try disable it, i always rember when i locked the car the light went steady then i unlocked it , then it would goaways un till i open the door light bilbks until i close the door my car wont fire up so im asuming its the security system i cant reset it or put key in the door to turn it off, it just keeps blinking, i tryed disconecting th battery but nothing still blinks my car was runing realy crapy becaue i need 2 o2 sensors it started to mis fire and turned it off woke up tryed to start it ,and dam light wont go away help me out here to disable that crap

just disconnect it.
Search, lots of questions and occurences on this problem.

i did read alls it says is disconect the module witch no discrption they say the black box behide the ecu but mine says thats passanger seat belt, thenthe metal one doesnt say anything on it ether i tryed disconecting both of them to see if it turn that dam light off but i dont no wat to do now with this crap so frustrating

here is a picture of the theft device it doesnt have blue relay on it nor is made of plastic and it is above the ecu with 2 screws

i never said it was plastic but mine does have a blue relay attached to it.
but they're all in the same location.
