Reverse light problem
 

I have a big problem with my Z.....my reverse lights are not working. ALL of the wiring works we had it at a Nissan dealership and they said that it must be a problem in the transmission itself. Does anyone have any ideas as to what they could be talking about or what could be causing this because i really do not wanna take it to a Nissan dealer for them to rake me over the coals for something that really took them 20 mins to do.

There is a switch in your transmission housing that has wiring connected to it, or should be connected to it. You are going to have to put the car up on a rack and reconnect it. I just had my switch replaced along with another switch on the transmission. Cost me $90 for both switches and installantion at Z Atlanta. Now my reverse lights work, where in before they were not working at all. Also the leaking problem that I was experiencing is also gone.
