Well that should be easy to answer. You can open the trunk with the top down, right? Can you see the two shock towers? Is the top inbetween them? I know it's a soft top so if there is interference you might be able to move the top outta the way of the bar. Otherwise not.
Try this. Tie a string from one shock tower to the other. Lower the top, did it break the string? Did the string even move? Move the string from the inner most part of the shock tower to the outer most. Raise and lower the top. Observe the strings reaction, if any, to that. You should have your answer then.
