Recently my 93 300 TT has started to randomly not start. It will start strong with no issues twenty times and then not start. It will restart twenty minutes / two hours / twenty four hours etc. later and then start strong for twenty five times before repeating the cycle.

The instrument panel comes on and when turning on the ignition the instrumentation panel makes a clicking / chirping sound but no engine turn over. It sound as if the starter is trying to engage but no success.

I have had the starter and the "after market alarm" checked throughly with no change.

Any comments / thoughts would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with my z. I took it to the dealer and it turned out to be the starter that had to be replaced. This was just last week. Good luck

 

i have no idea...but here is one anyway... On some of my cars in the past, not my Z though.... my starter was missing a couple teeth so every now and then I would get a no start...just an idea.
