oil leaking into intake
as i was putting new intake pipes onto the throttle bodies, i noticed on the drivers side, the middle sized/middle tubing coming off the pipe had oil inside it and its been leaking into the main pipe that runs up to the throttle body, what exactly is causing this, and is there anyway i can clean this all up and then stop the oil from leaking.... where is the oil coming from ? i appriciate anyone's input on this, thanks a lot

umm...check for pvc valve functionality. Might mean that the one on that side is stuck in the open position.

So was I correct?

2nd. What Rizz said iis the first thing that came to mind for me as well. The PVC valve is an emmisions aiding device. Check this tech out and see if it helps at all.

Also bro, try and check these "mystery" valves me and Riz have been discussing, take a flash light and manually open up the throttle bodies and hold it so you can see amply (while the car is off please, haha, unless blowing engines is your THING or something, hehe:D ) And about 3 inches back, you should see a little peice of cylinder shaped metal sticking up, check and see if thats clogged (NOTE: you will only see a little portion of this at your angle, but its enough to tell) try it and see, but I think its more than likely the PCV's.
