Noob here w/ Question...
 

Why is it that many parts do not fit the '96 model Z? For instance many exhaust systems and the JWT POP charger do not according to the JWT website. Just curious and wanted to know.

Nissan changed a few things with the adoption of OBDII in 96. The exhaust flanges after the cats on the non-turbos are oriented differently, so the exhaust won't fit unless you have Midas cut 'em off and re-orient them for you; turbos work just fine. The POP charger fits the same as other years. I have both on my 96TT.

ECU is incompatible due to the different programming, and JWT isn't going to develop one, so don't expect 60 extra hp for $700. A couple of guys on twinturbo.net have modded their 96s to more than 350hp at the wheels, though.
