None of my belts or fan spins

My powersteering went out and not one of my belts will spin and my fan will not spin either. My car starts and runs but it will shut off when the battery dies because the alternator is not spinning. What's makes all my belts and fan to not move?

I drive a 1991 na 2+2

Main crank pulley turning? (It's the bottom one in there...) Check that and the belts. They spin the rest.

Can't believe this. If motor is running, crankshaft has to be rotating. So your crank pulley is slipping (not rotating with shaft). Best to find out why.

Definitely let us know what you find! Thanks.

I've seen this on other cars...

Sometimes the concentric rubber pieces in the harmonic balancer fail or wear out, which lets the main crank pulley free-wheel. The balancer failing would be the best case scenario (cheapest and easiest to fix) for this symptom.
