New Z owner! Intro + Pics!
Good day, all.
Just bought my first Z - 1993 300ZX Twin Turbo T-Top.
Bought it with 150k miles and a K&N style filter, an Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley, and 17" 5Zigen FN01R-C wheels.
My god, it needs suspension work. I think the shocks are close to dead, needs new springs, rear tie rod ends, front passenger side lower ball joint, and probably all new bushings. I'll also probably need to replace, at a minimum, all the hoses and belts. I'll probably do a timing belt in the spring. Oh, and tires.
Other than that, it's nice. Interior is, to me, surprisingly minty. Blue cloth in excellent condition. Paint's not perfect, but it's pretty good for a 17 year old.
