More Big Problems with the Z

Well, I am really getting tired of all these problems w/ my Z, it is absolutly rediculious that everytime I fix somthing another thing majorly goes wrong. Now I Have perhaps the wierdest thing happening. Start the car, everything seems to be ok, rev it up alittle and everything (a/c controls etc.) goes out except the backlighting of the instrument cluster, which progressivly gets brighter the higher reving the engine. Radio still works fine, headlights fine etc.... O and my oil pressure is REALLY high and my dip stick shows over full, wierd because I just changed my oil with the exact amount of oil needed. Any ideas? I'm trying my best not to get any more fed up with this car.

Sounds like you have a short in the elctrical system. Check your grounds. As far the oil pressure goes, it could be a sending unit. Find the short 1st. If that doesn't fix the reading on the oil pressure gauge, then change your sending unit.

You might also try getting the alternator checked first. Although it might be producing electricity, the regulator might be bad.

It does sound like a short.............
