Instrument Panel Failure

Ive owned a '94 300zx for about 2 months and Im having some weird problems right now. And im not sure if theyre related or not. I was redoing some fuses becuse my turn signals werent working. The signals work now, but since then my isntrument panel hasnt been working (the tach, speedometer, temp, and oil gauges). Also when Im driving the seat belt light is on, even though my seat belt is to. Ive double checked the fuses and from what I can tell there isnt any bad or poorly connected fuses. I would greatly appreciate some help.

Double check the connector for the seat belts located under the seats.

Hey Rizz can you point me in the right direction for a how-to on someone who has removed their gauge cluster? I have seen the manual but I was hoping to see where some one in the forum has done it and did a step by step for those of us who have not done it before. I have the 90 model TT.

Thanks Rizz,
Harvey

check your ground cable coming off the battery to the firewall, grounding problems are not uncommon for this car, plus it's 11+ years old so maybe some rust has built up or corrision around your ground cable.

I'm redoing mine now as we speak with some extra grounding points.
